This historic clock was commissioned by Queen Victoria as a gift to the United States and first exhibited at Worlds Fair in Chicago in 1893. @stairrestoration Restoration was asked to restore this monumental time piece in a six month long restoration and conservation project. This clock sat proudly in the lobby of the Waldorf Astoria and now has a new temporary home at the Historical Society until the renovation of the Waldorf Astoria is complete.
