Happy Thanksgiving, friends and neighbors! We’re open today 10am ‘til 2pm. We wish everyone a safe, healthy holiday weekend.

Another gorgeous May morning here in the Catskills, scraping ice off the windshield and bundling up with hats and gloves! (Laugh, folks, laugh!!!) We still have a few bottles of gluwein and hot cider in the store! Just a reminder that according to the new guidelines from the Governor, we will continue operating the store as currently, with the walk-up window, delivery to car or home. Though things are looking better, keep in mind there is no vaccine for the virus, no cure, and it continues to lurk among us. Thank you to everyone who has taken precautions, keeping themselves and everyone around them safe. We (and the dogs, especially!) are sooooo anxious to open our doors and resume the camaraderie, hugs and cajoling. Be patient we’ll get there.

So this is posted on our front window...thank you Stamford Neighbors! Heroes don’t work here, however. We’re just a few very thankful people who are fortunate to have a place to go every day to greet and cajole with OUR heroes ... our customers who support us and this Village. Can’t wait for the day when we can open our windows and arms to start putting our lives back together. Be positive...find humor...hang tough.

The time has come...our business remains open but we’re asking you to please use the walk-up window or delivery service to curbside or your home. It’s for your safety as well as ours. The store is open -- just keep a safe distance from each other. We have also added a walk-up window on the deck, and we continue to deliver to the parking lot or your home. Please stay safe.

We are open. Apparently the powers that be consider us "essential." We knew that. You knew that. The store is open our normal hours until you hear from me otherwise. But to make things safer, we will deliver to the parking lot or to your home, and we're happy to combine deliveries with restaurants in the Village. Strange times, ladies & gents! Our little business is more fortunate than others who are forced to close, and we will be proactive in supporting them everyday. Those restrictions may come our way, too but for now we will operate as normal. To alleviate any worry on your part, remember we will deliver to your home or to the parking lot next to the store. Just a reminder, folksas this virus spreads to areas near us, remember that we have services and products available in our Village to meet your needs. Maybe not all your wishes, but certainly everything to keep you from having to travel for basic requirements. We will all be inconvenienced over the next few weeks or months in one form or another, so let’s work together to minimize risks. This is a great opportunity to think about supporting the local businesses that strive e...very day to meet demands for our diverse community. As for this local wine & liquor storewe’ve mixed up a batch of super sanitizer made with Everclear (95% pure alcohol!!) to keep our store as germ-free as humanly possible! We’re also reminding you we will make deliveries in our community if you need it, and if there is a product you’re finding elsewhere that you’d like us to bring into our store, please let us know.
