Steve Greenberg and I had a great time at SUNY Empire State College's session "Why Vote: Posters, Politics and Propaganda." Terrific discussion and a great display of campaign buttons and other artifacts from retired Bethlehem, NY history teacher Bill Cleveland.

Stanhope was founded by Bob Bellafiore and is based near Albany, NY.

The firm is named after the street in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, NY where the Bellafiore and Giarratano clans planted their flag after coming through Ellis Island many years ago. Later, a son of one and a daughter of the other started our family. Those immigrants were poorly educated farmers and thick-fingered laborers. They understood the big picture and were unafraid to do what was needed to build foundations and create long-term success.
