The Star Of The Sea CYO Cadet Corps is proud to announce that cadet alumni Anthony Abbate, 1SG NY Army National Guard has been nominated by the Adjutant General (of NY) to be the next Command Sergeant Major of the New York Army National Guard Recruiting & Retention Battalion. Hooah!!!! Bravo Zulu

It is with deep sadness that we found out about the passing of a long-time friend and supporter, Reverend Father James Flanagan. Fr. Flanagan was the pastor of Holy Spirit parish in the Bronx during the early 1990s and then became the pastor of Holy Family parish in the Bronx where he served for over 20 years before becoming the assistant pastor of Immaculate Conception parish in Manhattan a few years ago. Fr. Flanagan welcomed us to both Holy Spirit and Holy Family. He always supported the cadets and was adored by many. Rest In Peace Fr. Flanagan. You will be dearly missed.
