As the severity of COVID-19 continues to develop around the world, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and unsure of what to do. When it comes to eye health, we want to keep you up-to-date on the most accurate and helpful information. Contact lens wearers in particular may be wondering if they should be handling their day-to-day health differently, in terms of preventative measures and daily usage of lenses. We have included a few useful resources below.

UPDATE!!! To our patients: At Station Square Eyes our number one priority is the safety of our patients and staff. We are in unprecedented times in dealing with this pandemic and hope that everyone is able to take the necessary precautions to limit the spread of the coronavirus. ... Due to the recent announcement by the NY State Governer's office, we will be closing our office beginning Saturday, March 21, 2020. until further notice. TO OUR PATIENTS At Station Square Eyes, our number one priority is the safety of our patients and staff. In these unprecedented times, we hope everyone is able to take the necessary precautions to limit the spread of the coronavirus. On our end, we are following the recommendations of the local government, doing everything we can to mitigate the risks by keeping good hygiene, cleaning our surfaces/eyewear regularly, and pre-screening our patients. If you have a scheduled app...ointment coming up but you are experiencing flu-like symptoms or have travelled to affected areas recently, please let us know so that we can reschedule and discuss your options to ensure our collective well-being. Because of the situation at hand, we have made the difficult decision to close the office on Tuesdays for the time being. We will be updating our store hours on Facebook and Yelp, as well as our store's website at fheyes.com, so please continue to check these sites. To ensure the recommended social distancing precautions, we will be restricting traffic into the store by functioning on a BY APPOINTMENT ONLY basis. If you have glasses or contacts to pick up, please contact us via email or phone and we can make arrangements for you. We will be open for pick-ups, but we are limiting the store to just one patient at a time. If you need a refill of your contact lens prescription, please email us at [email protected] or call us at (718) 544-2200 (preferably email), so that we can extend/refill the prescriptions to make sure you will have enough contacts to weather this storm. As always, we appreciate your patronage and will continue to keep you informed as changes happen. Take care of yourself and each other.
