CONGRATULATIONS to St. Augustine School Class of 2021! Forty students took the TACHS exam and 45% of them have earned academic scholarships totaling over $1,002,500 to many highly selective Catholic High Schools. The scholarships ranged from partial to several full 4 year scholarships. Students were accepted to the following schools: Regis High School, Convent of the Sacred Heart, Dominican Academy, Fordham Prep, St Vincent Ferrer, Iona Prep, Kennedy Catholic, Maria Regina, Archbishop Stepinac, The Ursuline School, and School of the Holy Child. Congratulations to everyone!! May God bless you in this next chapter of your education!

Dear St. Augustine Alumni: (Please share and tag any alumni that you are friends with!) It has been a challenging time for the world community with many people suffering from coronavirus and some sadly succumbing to it. Our School has not escaped the impact of this global health crisis. Sadly, the majority of the fundraising that takes place over the year has been cancelled due to COVID concerns since last Spring. Our fundraising is typically used to support programs for stud...ents as well as operational expenses such as technology, a new roof and playground. I graduated from SAS in 1990 and now return as the proud parent of 1st and 3rd graders as well as a member of the Home School Board. As a graduate, I can attest to the power and benefit of the Catholic education I received from SAS. It served both as a foundation for my educational career as well as a community from which I still have my closest friendships. For many families, it’s this experiences that led to alumni now enrolling their own children at SAS. I believe you would agree that SAS is both a school and a community to be enjoyed for generations to come. As you might expect, the loss of our fundraising efforts including the Summer Feast, Christmas Fair, and Golf Outing in addition to others does not eliminate expenses. Moving to an online/hybrid environment has actually led to increased expenses yet we are committed to keeping our tuition low so that all families that want to benefit from a Catholic education are able to do so. While we will be relying on any new fundraising efforts we can come up with to get us through the year, we are asking for your help and ask that you consider making a donation to St. Augustine School at this pivotal time. SAS, to my knowledge, has not actively solicited funds from our community in its history. Please consider making a contribution according to your ability to do so. Donations whether small or large would demonstrate in a decisive manner your love of St. Augustine School and willingness to help us continue our mission serving students.
