All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go. We've done just about all we could to pull off this Thanksgiving shipping. Of course we have pies and Swingles, we also have our packaging and refrigerant. We've got just about everything we need except a functional website for folks to order. There's only so much we can do, the machine behind the website, the hidden gears that make everything come together, and out of our hands. Dare I say, we're rounding the curve.... This is just round one, and we’ll keep working in different versions until we can get that same taste in the cookie that we get in our crust. It was more the work of French Huguenot Dr. Henry Perrine and then US President John Quincy Adams who can be attributed to modern key lime pie, but that’s another story. Regardless, we were blessed with its creation, and equally blessed today that there’s someone out here making the real deal. You’d think that not to be the case, but even in @thefloridakeys you’d be hard pressed to find a key lime pie made with fresh squeezed key lime juice. OMG, YGBFKM! Our friends at @thedoughnutproject are celebrating National Key Lime Pie Day with a collaboration with none other than us. They say water seeks its own level so it’s only natural for the best of doughnuts to team up with the best of key lime pie. @lesliepolizzotto and her team have been amazing. ...
