Throwback Thursday, sometime in the 1970’s.
Although St. John’s will be closed through May 16, as per Bishops Dietsche’s direction, we would truly appreciate any weekly offerings/pledges that you are able to mail in to St. John’s. These donations will help us to keep things running smoothly for when we are able to be together again. We understand that these may be trying times financially for you as well, so there is no pressure to do so. If you are able, please mail your offering/pledges to our P.O. Box: Box 641 Stony Point, NY 10980. We thank you in advance, and look forward to seeing you in May.
Online Worship Services: St. Stephen’s Pearl River will be having Morning Prayer on Facebook weekdays at 10 am, usually live. They also have Wednesday Evening Prayer at 7 pm Sunday Morning Eucharist at 10:30 am. The Eucharists will, now that they know we are all closed for longer, be prerecorded with lay lectors doing the lessons for the week, and will be uploaded both to Facebook and their website. That page will also include periodic videos for learning and sometimes humor that Father Kyle Martindale is doing in his own time. Their interfaith group is also doing a special video that will be published on April 1 that is intended to be humorous. Please feel free to utilize these, and/or any other online services until we are able to meet together again in May.
