Farmers in the Hudson Valley are struggling with the increasing irregularity of weather patterns brought about by climate change. Among recommended strategies to adapt are: "promoting resilience in the region by building healthy soil; thinking beyond organic and other certifications toward holistic and adaptive agricultural methods; and expanding and strengthening local food systems, with a focus on promoting radical equity in these systems."
