The Syracuse Strong Football team will travel to Fort Lauderdale, Florida this weekend to compete for the Sunshine Bowl AAA National Championship for the second... year in a row. The local minor professional champions are undefeated with a 30-0 record. Beyond the championship game, the team will go on to face the best of the best in a new league in the upcoming season. Mayor Walsh welcomed the team to City Hall for a send off and proclamation ceremony to wish the team well.
