Local Brocton residents step into new management roles! WE ARE GROWING! Thank you to many of our patrons who frequent us in-house, drive thru or online. Thanks to you, the St. Stephen's Cafe has continued to grow. As of January 1, 2021, we welcome Adam Schroen (2 yr), Brocton resident, and Jeannie Oliver (4 mo), Brocton resident, in their advancement into management. ADAM has been with the cafe from its inception (NOV 2018) as a volunteer and then being our first paid re...sident staff member (April 2019). He has stepped into his role as Kitchen Manager to work alongside the director of operations, front end & customer service manager, cooks and barista assists to ensure we are running as efficient as possible. JEANNIE has been with us as a staff member since September, 2020, but intricately connected as a customer since 2018. She has stepped into her role as Front End & Customer Service Manager to work alongside the director of operations, kitchen manager and baristas. Her extensive customer service experience with the Institute as well as an educator instructor in the homeschool & later the private school sectors, she will be an asset to training and oversight with baristas. If you've been in lately, you know Jeannie will ensure you are well taken care of. It is the mission of Breathe Life of WNY, Inc, the cafe's sole owner, to be a partner in the revitalization to the economy and community of the Brocton/Portland area. St. Stephen's Café is a place where community is fostered, quality products are offered and skills & employment opportunities become intentional. Thank you for being our partner. Lory's headed out after a year and a half of setting our menu, training us to cook for made-to-order foods and actively working to do skills training as local residents stepped into our workforce.
