UPDATE: The main break on Wilson Blvd in Islip has been repaired and water is flowing. Great job SCWA staff!

RIGHT NOW : SCWA responding to a 12 main break on Wilson Blvd in Islip. Roughly 50 customers affected. Water is expected to be restored around 2PM

Don't forget to protect against frozen pipes this winter! Try using electrical heating tape directly on pipes to help them retain heat. This can be especially helpful for pipes in cold areas like attics and basements. (Make sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions and safety procedures when using electrical heating tape).... #GreatWater #SCWAwater #WaterTips
