#MeetOurStaff I am Kelsey Woodford, Assistant Director of the Office of Financial Literacy. Having a strong financial foundation can help achieve goals, like buying your first car or paying off student loans effectively, and gives students the ability to make the best financial decisions for themselves. We are here to provide education and guidance for students on any subject relating to personal finance. My dog was featured in a photoshoot promoting a brewery that was published in a state-wide magazine (because he is the cutest!!!) Here is the link (https://buff.ly/36DtFch)

1. My name is Philip Irvine, and I am a Financial Literacy Specialist. This is my first position in the OFL, I originally worked in the Financial Aid Office at the front desk and then processing loans. 2. I believe financial literacy is the most important life skill anyone can have. The amount of money you make, the job you hold, or where you live can only lead to financial stability and with proper money management. 3. I bike and run year round, even in the dead of winter. Before COVID I commuted to SU by bike every day of the year, and the lowest temperature I have ever rode in was -12 just last year.
