At the end of May 2020 Daniela came in to get a repair done on her beautiful Colnago. While looking around she noticed we had a couple small road bikes in stock. She got really excited about the idea of surprising two sisters who worked at her restaurant @atlanyc with new bikes. They were her only two employees didn’t have bikes or some other safe way to commute through the pandemic. She pulled the trigger, bought the two bikes, and we arranged to deliver them before the two ...sisters showed up to work. I think the photos tell the rest of the story well enough... I’m not crying, you’re crying! **If you order food, order directly through the restaurant over phone or their email. If they don’t have their own delivery staff, maybe pick up!** Been waiting to post this tear jerker of a story. Now seems like a good time seeing as ending indoor dining means restaurants are in trouble. If you have ever worked in a restaurant, you know what restaurant family is like. I know mine still has my back even though the restaurant closed a few years ago.

Today it’s colder so here’s a sunny day photo with the best smile!! The multi talented (musician, play writer, educator, author) @amyraleon came through in May to get a basket for her bike, and couldn’t resist this Coastal Blue @explorethousand helmet that matched her outfit perfectly! We’ve got a lot of new lights in, some of the coolest have to be the @lezyneofficial Alert LED rear lights, they feature a deceleration detector changing brightness and pattern speed upon deceleration to alert drivers and other cyclists behind you. We also stocked up on a bunch of super nice front lights with your choice of lumens up to 1000!! ALL USB RECHARGEABLE!

Hard to believe four years have passed since our initial build out. So thankful to our community, staff and customers who’ve supported us. We needed some more bikes to sell in this wild uncertain time so @codyandsoul came in for a couple night shifts to tune up our rental fleet for the sales floor. Within 2 hours of opening today they were gone! We have some @linusbike coming in soon so check in for new stock. Of course our mechanics are still here getting your bikes tuned and flats fixed, and we have all the accessories you need or a safe enjoyable ride.... Come by anytime with your bike questions

Delivering bikes by bike! Thanks to all the volunteer doctors and nurses who’ve come to NYC in our time of need. We’ve been setting folks up for free on our rental bikes, and we deliver! This bike went to a hotel by Central Park, and will be taking a health care worker up to the Bronx on their commute for the next 10 weeks. #wheelsforheroes #abuscycling @ New York, New York

When a customer comes to the shop with the exact bike they want in mind but that color is on back order for months ... this was a fun game of what can we do to make the right bike look as as possible. Amidst the current situation we are moving to a very limited service we will try to finish up the workorders we have on a very basic repair level to get bikes back you ASAP. We will perform basic repairs as walk ins but will not check in bikes for service. We will continue to sell bikes to those who want/ need them for transportation during this time. Please take extra precautions to sanitize and protect yourself and others from spreading the virus we will be open 12-7 and going day to day

These magnetic lights are so easy to remove from the mount, you’ll never have a light stolen again. @sunandair is collecting new & lightly used winter coats, toys, and school supplies for the family’s at @scofamily in Bushwick. There are currently over 90 families living there some with as many as 4 children. Bonus for helping out, you get $1 off coffee at @sunandair when you drop off your donations!
