Happy November! November is the month to remind us to be thankful for the many positive things happening in our life. While at the barn, please take a moment to complete the whiteboard in the office "I'm thankful for..." and snap a photo. It can be of you, another volunteer, a horse, etc...Please make sure the photo is clear. Send the photo and names of volunteers/horses to Tess at [email protected]... I will post up at least one picture a day showing what we are thankful for. Thank you. If you're not a volunteer at Sunshine Horses, we'd still love to hear what you are thankful for in your life.

Adoptable: Dylan Dream Companion only Age: 17 years old Breed: Standardbred Sex: Gelding... Color: Dark Bay Description: Dylan raced as a young horse but spent most of his years with the Amish. When the Amish were done with him, he was sent to auction and eventually found himself in the kill pen where he was rescued. Dylan was quite skinny, had an unhealthy coat and was very sad when he first came to Sunshine. After a few months with us he, is now up to a healthy weight and is a confident, happy horse. Dylan has had a tough life and needs a soft place to land with a loving family and some horse buddies. Dylan has a stifle injury and can’t be ridden but he gets along fine. A great big THANK YOU goes out to Dr. Doug Willen of Willen Wellness and his Youtube Channel - House of Chiro! He spent all of Friday with Sunshine and our herd and adjusted all 21 of our horses (Doyle and Runner pictured) plus several of our volunteers! It was a great day and we are truly grateful!
