GOOD NEWS! The Children's Museum: Family Times Program will be operating this semester. The place is still the SUNY Cortland Child Care Center on Prospect Terrace from 10 am to 1 pm. Tomorrow is the first session. February 6 Chinese New Year Join us for crafts and food to celebrate Chinese New Year!. February 20 Let’s Dance! The Cortland Dance Group will perform and teach new steps! Themed art the many faces of self-portraits. February 27 Music is everywhere! Come an...d learn some new songs and old favorites as we sing along to some favorite tunes. Theme -Art and music play well together. March 5 Can You Hear It? Sound waves move in solids water and air, join us to see how to make them and make some of your own. Crafts this week are themed for Spring! April 9 Join us to see real Painted Lady Butterflies and make butterfly arts and crafts too! April 16 Come to Kidsville in the Gymnasium of the Cortland County Office Building! SUNY Cortland Children's Museum 10.10.2020

Come to the Children's Museum Family Times Program tomorrow! Music, Movement, Dance and Art We have a great day planned. We will have two guest musicians who will bring their instruments (guitar, violin and viola). They will play for everyone's enjoyment, teach some songs, and play music so that the Cortland Dance Group and you can dance along. They will share their music experiences as students at a Music Conservatory. They hope to inspire children who are interested in mu...sic. The Early Childhood Teacher Candidates will do "ooey gooey" art activities, share snack with all participants and do parachute activities. We expect to do music and dance at 11 and 12, parachute activities at 11:30. Art and snack will be throughout the day.

We celebrated Chinese New Year on Feb. 8th. We had Incredible Water activities and the Cortland Dance Group on Feb. 22nd. This Saturday (March 1st) we will have Dinosaurs Galore! Come and join us.
