Dr. Katie Bouman led the development of an algorithm to make the first ever picture of a black hole. It took over 5 petabytes (5,000,000 gigabytes) of data to image the black hole!

The former Democratic Indiana senator pushed for the landmark 1972 federal law banning discrimination against women in college admissions and athletics.

We’re not actually dying, I just liked the meme!! But we are gonna take a break from regular meetings for a few weeks. The club needs some breathing room, so Vagina Monologues was our last hurrah for a little while. On Thursday April 11th, we’ll be holding a reboot meeting with our advisor, Dr. Doran.
