Today, Mayor DeBlasio announced that Alternate Side Parking reform announced in June will be in place until further notice. Non-metered side streets that have multiple ASP days (per side) will continue to be cleaned only on the latest day of the week on each side.

It is, unfortunately, a very expensive part to replace, as it's only available from the dealer and not as an aftermarket part. Our customers have been going through their insurance companies, and in two cases, the insurance companies wanted to total the car because the cost of the repair... was more than the car was worth! These cars were parked in Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, Windsor Terrace, Sunset Park and Bay Ridge. We've been in touch with several other Brooklyn repair shops, and they've also noticed an increase in these thefts, not just on Toyota Prius's, but also on Honda CR-Vs and Elements. You MUST: Have your own tools. Be able to use a PC. Have experience working on both foreign and domestic cars. Have a valid driver's license and be able to drive both manual and automatic transmission. Be able to complete services and repairs in a reasonable amount of time. Build a productive working relationship with fellow employees through clear communication and team work. ALL EMPLOYEES WILL BE PROVIDED WITH: their own bottle of hand sanitizer, disposable face masks and rubber gloves, and disinfecting wipes and disposable car seat covers.
