My Mom keeps amazing me! She just finished this gem! This is a large dark gray knitted handbag with a beige paisley liner. Pockets on each side for water bottle etc. and zipper pockets on the inside for storage. Plus a bonus pocket to fit a large cell phone in the front

I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone for the great response! My mother (Susan McCarthy) is not to savvy with Facebook so she asked me to help her write a little something. This is a new adventure for my Mother. She has always been a creative and talented person, from making clothing, scarfs, and hats, to making our Halloween costumes! Recently she has found a new love and passion for making knitted handbags. As many of you know my Mother, Family and the entire comm...unity lost a huge part of our lives back in October 2015 - When The Wayside Country Inn burned down. Both my Mother and Father worked very hard for 25 years creating a great place to go to eat, drink and be merry with family and friends. After this happened she needed to find away to express herself and find happiness again. Well, she found it. When she showed me the first bag she made right before Christmas she was so proud and excited, and rightfully so, it was a beautiful bag!! I could really tell a lot of love went into making it, every stitch, every detail. (My sister Katie made out like a bandit, she got it for Christmas!!) She decided she would like to share her talents and start selling these creations. I posted a picture of my Mother with her Mother Janet. Many of you knew her well. Janet was also a very talented women, she loved to knit and crochet. I believe that she would be so proud of my Mother for so many accomplishments, but especially this one.
