We would like to post something a little different today sent to us from Todd @risanmedia. Our little ski industry is touched by things we can’t even imagine, and we expand into vast areas as well. Here is just one example how we interweave with nature and can take steps toward higher levels of sustainability and responsible land management. - - Our family lives high in the mountains of Colorado, surrounded by forests dense with Engelmann Spruce, subalpine fir, lodgepole and... bristlecone pine and Aspen. Where we live, we have access to an abundance of forest resources to utilize with our mountain lifestyle. The mountain pine beetle devastated 3.4 million acres of Colorado’s forests and the dead trees remain mostly standing throughout the state.
