#motivationmonday After speaking with some hockey players parents this first week, I’m understanding there were recent tryouts and many young teenagers are experiencing the 3 negative D’s..... Disappointed, Discouraged & Down on themselves for not making the team. With basketball as my background I have to refer the greatest player ever- Michael Jordan. I found 5 quotes of his, talking about failure. ... 1.) The key to success is failure 2.)l’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. I’ve been trusted 26 times to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. 3.) Failure makes me work even harder. 4.) I’ve never been afraid to fail. 5.) I know fear is an obstacle for some people, but it’s an illusion to me. Failure always made me try harder next time. He also experienced not making the cut of his Varsity Basketball Team that he wanted so badly... So look to the greatest, I certainly do. I’ve failed at many things in my life and I’ve always looked to those who believe and have overcome obstacles... Instead of Disappointment , Discouragement and being Down on yourself... Let’s introduce 3 different D words, DESIRE, DRIVE & DETERMINATION !!! Life is always about picking up the pieces and giving it your best to move forward. Without a doubt the most difficult and emotional post I’ve ever made. Today S.W.E.A.T. Revolution handed the Keys and torch to Adam Walker & Outcast Athletics . Creating, building, owning, running and training athletes out of S.W.E.A.T. Revolution for the past 8 years without question has been the most incredible experience of my life. Building from scratch, an idea, a passion, a dream, that became my life, providing me with the most rewarding friendships and experiences... that I could ever imagine. Everyone that was a part of sweat will forever be in my heart. Words aren’t enough, no post can explain, describe or give any true meaning to the relationships I was so blessed to receive from so many incredible families. One of the toughest decisions of my life, but impossible to turn down the incredible opportunity I’ve been given. @ryanenglebert & @etsperformancehq you've given me an opportunity of a lifetime and I couldn’t be more excited, motivated, grateful or appreciative. I am so sorry to all those I was unable to say goodbye and to thank you in person for all the love and support over the years. It’s been hard... & The challenging times really didn’t allow for us all to get together. With a heavy but overflowing heart I’m on my way to New Jersey as the new Director and Head Trainer @etsprotecnj.
