Hello everyone! PAOLA here! It’s been such a long time since my last post, wow. This break from Instagram was totally unplanned, but I secretly felt at peace not having to worry about social media. It’s true, detaching oneself from it really does help recharge the energy and ideas. I plan to post more regularly now and show you more of what we plan for this new year. I’m so grateful for our followers and hope you all enjoy our feed

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! On this day of reflection, I am thankful for my family and parents. In specific, my kind and beautiful mami who’s always given so much to me and my two older & younger brothers. She’s so special to us. I’m also thankful for what I have even though I secretly complain to myself that it could be so much more. It can, but when you’ve got so many people in the world, in our own country & City suffering, one has to stop and appreciate the little things. I try to be conscious about this Do swipe < to see the HUGE transformation on this Bayside, Queens kitchen. The lovely client was ready for a change and I helped her with that Need to schedule a profesional photoshoot for this project, soon, yes. @ Bayside, New York

I can’t believe how beautiful this autumnal color scheme is Wish you could see it in person. I’m most excited about those burnt orange / soft copper silk fabrics; they’re ridiculously gorgeous. The concept for this design is extravagant with very luxurious selections, including a faux shagreen wallcovering, which will add loads of interesting texture to this living room. The proposed feeling is warm and cozy, while remaining fresh for year round enjoyment. Timelessness at its best, eh? Do swipe < to view detailed shots. @ New York, New York

The creative process and workspaces are a huge inspiration to me. Here is a rough draft of the initial concept for our future design studio. I decided to skip the typical stark, white walls, going for a creamier, warmer shade that complimented the ivory/cream tables and grey chairs. The feeling is bright and homey, even. That was the goal! Featured is my very own antique china cabinet, which I scored on Craigslist for FREE back in 2015. It’s gorgeous, in perfect conditions ...and huge at L 77 X D 15 X H 52. I always envisioned it for our design sample library. I’d like to have a cabinet below it custom made for extra storage and to raise it off the floor even though it’s quite high. The interior is filled with baskets, each labeled with real brass hang tags. I wanted something cool, HA! I think I’ll be writing a blog post on this space soon, yes? Please do swipe < to see more. It’s true that every detail matters! Here you’re seeing the opposite side of our dreamy feminine dressing room shared a few weeks ago. The chair’s overall style is modern, but the elegant back makes it a special and classic piece. Now, the different features found in the space, as you know I often like to point out: dressing table nook and wardrobe doors covered with a subtly patterned wallpaper, along with insetted bronze trim, and antique brass pulls. The island is textured..., covered in faux shagreen leather and the chicest addition, the glass table lamp, which I find adds a cozy feel to the fresh feeling space. Oh, yes, that’s the same branch mirror used in our previous post I love it. I’m curious, do you prefer closed or open storage for your closet / dressing room? I totally prefer closed as shown above because it’s neater, though I’ll leave some open opportunities for displaying nicer items like handbags, shoes, men suits, collectibles and accessories if the space allows. I’ve been receiving such nice compliments about our renderings, lately. THANK YOU SO MUCH, seriously. It means the world to me Being self taught, it took a while before I was able to define a process and signature style for our design documents, but I’ve realized that things just naturally click at some point. With trials, ones vision inherently pushes through. I find this specially true when it comes to styles. Despite the multitude of inspiration out there, I’m happy tha...t I can still maintain my personal aesthetics, while developing a look unique to Synonymous This reminds me that things always happen for a reason. Do you believe in that? Also, I can’t wait until I’m brave enough to release a video and greet you all on insta-stories. Why am I so shy on social media? I’m actually the complete opposite in person. Ok, now I’m just thinking out loud Paola See more

I used to watch the awesome spanish version of @HGTV and @tlc called @utilisima growing up and I was seriously obsessed with all the how-to craft shows, cooking and home decor shows available through that inspiring channel from Argentina. They even had teens host some shows, which I found amazing! The love was so big I would literally make believe I had my own show, while recording myself. I’ve got to find those videos of my pre-teen self hosting a tv series, wow Story shor...t, I’ve been wanting to record some videos on all things design, mainly because I love hosting videos and I genuinely enjoy sharing my knowledge. What do you think? Please do let me know. I’m thinking to choose a question and address it through a well thought out video to begin with. Then, of course I’d love to document the interior design process, eventually. Are there any specific topics you’d like covered? I’d be thrilled to have these videos to look back to when I’m older another reason I’m keen about this idea. My mami / family know this has always been a dream of mine See more

This cute set up stopped me in my tracks as I was walking today. How simply chic does it look, eh? Reminds me of summer! @ Union Square, Manhattan

Neutrals just relax me, I love them I also very much enjoy coordinating patterns and find them the greatest opportunity to inject some interest into a space. This scheme even got a really cool dose of leather embossed in an ostrich skin pattern. That’s totally daring even for me, but it works, I think. I’ve included it to become the door fronts on a drink cabinet. With everything else being quite plain I find details like these add the memorable factor What do you think? I stick to bigger furniture pieces like the sofa and chairs to be upholstered in hardwearing solid fabrics, while utilizing patterned, maybe more expensive fabrics for the throw pillows. That’s a good little formula. @ New York, New York

The scheme for the bedroom featured on the previous post began with understated luxury in mind. My inspiration was the gorgeous embroidered fabric with various shades of taupe, cream and gold . The overall design is neutral, which I love, but we made sure to add interest with lots of texture, my favorite! From afar these fabrics may seem plain, but they’re not. They all have a subtle feel and pattern to them Pair that with dreamy antique brass touches and you’ve got the chicest room. Wait till you see the chandelier we paired with this design Zoom in for detail. The art is amazing, too. You can order the matted pieces from us. [email protected] with your enquiry. Paola

Hola, hola! Paola here! It’s been a while since I’ve posted... again, but I’m literally always around I tend to share as new designs get developed. So here’s a sneak peak of a master bedroom I’ve put together for a special project. Can’t show the entire look yet, as we’ve got to do a few things with these renderings first. I’ll be sharing the fabric and finishes board soon. Stay tuned! By the way, THANK YOU SO MUCH to our new followers Ps: This week has been crazy fo...r me. On Tuesday, I woke up with a HORRIBLE stiff neck (still hasn’t gotten entirely better), and as if things couldn’t get any worse, that same day about 2 hours after waking up I slipped and fell quite badly off some marble stairs that were wet from the rain outside. I landed flat on my back Every. Single. Edge of those marble steps was felt. I was terrified I would injure my neck considering it’s state, but I made it out with just a few bruises Hahah, happy Friday! See more

Happy (day off) Labor Day! This has got to be my favorite bedroom design to date. LOVE the luxuriousness of it all, with the elongated headboard flanked by polished plaster walls, which were my main inspiration What do you think? As always, read the full description on our website’s portfolio. Also, check out our insta-stories where we’ve shared loads of news / reminders. Hopefully you make it till the end Paola
