Attention, families: Until we resume hybrid learning, the SCSD Food & Nutrition Services Department will be distributing meal kits on Wednesdays and Fridays. A ...3 day meal kit will be distributed on Wednesday and a meal kit for 4 total days will be distributed on Fridays at all previously established meal pick up locations. Grab & Go breakfast/lunch will be available on Wednesday and Friday (9:30am - 1:00pm) this week at meal sites around the city, including Syracuse Latin.

All SCSD Schools Will be Remote from January 4th-15th Due to the continued increase in positive COVID-19 cases in our community at-large and in our school commu...nity, the Syracuse City School District will be going to full remote instruction for the next two weeks. All students and staff will be remote January 4th-15th. We will continue to monitor the situation in our community and with our staff and students over the next two weeks. It is our intention to resume our hybrid instruction on Tuesday, January 19th. In order for us to resume in person learning we all need to wear our masks, stay socially distanced, avoid gatherings and wash your hands. Together we can make a difference! Thank you for your support and understanding.

Families & friends...per Superintendent Alicea’s call and email today, SCSD will continue with 100% remote instruction 1/4-1/15 with the hope to return to hybrid instruction on 1/19.

Per SCSD Health Services, this is a reminder that neck gaiters or bandanas are not an acceptable form of a face covering for students or staff. Students and staff must wear a mask that covers their face/nose. If your child needs a mask, the teacher has them available in the classroom.
