MEET our T3 October ATHLETE of the MONTH, Chris McNally! @drmac125 When we think of honoring a triathlete, we generally think of athletic accomplishments first. In the case of Chris McNally, we have those accomplishments: A personal best Ironman time at the age of 56 this July in Lake Placid and completion of the Survival of the Shawangunks race in September. However, in Chris' case, there's more to the story. The USA Triathlon Women's Committee selected Chris as their Man of the Year based on his efforts to stop harassment of female athletes right where it starts, that is with men. Hence, the name of his movement, It's On Us (I. O. U.) @iouitsonus Congratulations to Chris for his efforts on and off the course this year! For September, we congratulate Jack Putnamanother @t3juniortri Jack is already accomplishing impressive feats and guess he will continue to grow more. Coach Tim says, "Jack was a founding member of the Junior team in our first season last Summer. With several seasons of running and swimming under his belt, as well as being a regular on local group rides, he had a great foundation. After a Winter of Zwifting and a second season with the T3 Junior Team, he came into the 2021... race season even stronger. At both of his race appearances, the July and August VT Sun series, Jack won his age group in well rounded fashion."
