Members of #CiclistasNY & Transportation Alternatives Queens Volunteer Commitee paying respects to Alfredo Cabrera Liconia who lost his life due to deadly flaws in our infrastructure. On way we saw one car drive up bike lane &other park in it w/ no qualms &no plates. We need real protection. I believe more people will be leaving flowers & lighting candles at 9pm tonight. https://nyc.streetsblog.org//truck-driver-kills-scooter-r/

Amazing #OpenStreets bike ride. We hit so many neighborhoods, Astoria, Sunnyside, Woodside, Jackson Heights, Corona, Elmhurst & Flushing. We visited their open ...streets and ended in Elmhurst on their restaurant open street for delicious Thai food. Open Streets have transformed these neighborhoods. Having a safe place to rest, walk, bike, play, dine and socialize has made these neighborhoods more lively than ever. Big shout to Alan Baglia !!
