As we head into 2021, Sequence offers three event predictions for the coming year in this week's blog post, link below. What are other #eventpros seeing for the year ahead? http://ow.ly/cwUm50D2rqI
Prior to the pandemic, a 10-month planning window was common for live events. These days, timelines for virtual events are measured in weeks. In this month’s edition of Exhibitor Magazine, available in print, our CEO Adam Sloyer offers up a sample 10-week timeline for your next virtual event. https://www.exhibitoronline.com/index.asp
2020 was nothing like we could have ever anticipated for Sequence, but nonetheless we are so thankful for our team, our clients, and for the New Year ahead! While there is much to reflect on, there are three key sentiments which embody this last year for us: we are grateful, we are pensive, and we are excited. We are grateful for our ability to have made the full transition to virtual and for all that we have learned and developed this year. We are pensive about all those in ...our industry (and the world!) who have been deeply affected by the global pandemic. And, we are excited about the incredible range of virtual events we’ve produced over the past year, our brand refresh and new website, and for whatever the New Year may bring (hopefully less COVID, and more opportunities for safe gatherings)! Reflecting on an unexpected year, here are some of our best moments from virtual events in 2020 which are worth celebrating. #TeamSEQ loved working with Thrillist and Campbell's for a super wholesome, holiday inspired, virtual cooking event! The fun-filled evening was hosted by celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson and comedian Michelle Buteau, and included two extra special guests. We filmed the event via our virtual greenroom, which allowed the speakers to see each other and use a teleprompter while filming. Not to mention getting all the delicious recipe details of Chef Marcus Samuelsson’s mouth watering twist on Campbell's Bacon Hash Brown Casserole. We’re ready to eat!
Today #TeamSEQ eagerly unveils our refreshed brand identity and new website! While we are hopeful that 2021 will bring an end to all things Covid, the past year has undoubtedly left an indelible impression on the entire events industry. Virtual events will never replace live events, but they are most definitely here to stay. Even with this newfound event evolution, the core of Sequence’s mission remains unchanged. Collecting and connecting dots and Creating events with ess...ential connections feels as true to who we are today as they did when we unveiled our first website nine years ago. Our new website is the most prominent piece, but also just one of the tools we’ve reinvested in to best represent who we are, what we do, and how we are creating experiences in this new and evolving world. As we embark on year #10, we are excited to move into the next phase as we continue to reach, grow, and collaborate with partners old and new. For today, we are most excited to show off the new Sequence and we hope you like it too. Click the link below to see how Sequence has glowed up! http://sequence-events.com
#TeamSEQ partnered with Design Leadership Network to bring their annual Summit to the virtual stage. The DLN Virtual Summit featured incredible speakers from around the world. Sequence seamlessly worked with talent and coordinated these fascinating sessions across many different time zones. The event even included a post event Q+A with featured speakers who we learned from and have been so inspired by. Congrats DLN on another incredible virtual event!
