On September 22, our dear friend and colleague Nabil Kafrouni passed away after a long battle with cancer. Nabil was a force of nature, always ready to defend what he believed was right, yet quick with a joke or a smile. He had an incredibly sharp intellect, an amazing memory for details, and a heart of gold. As Technical Director at TMA for 15 years, he likely knew more about New York City building codes than anyone in the city. He will be missed.

This #WorkplaceWesnesday we’d like to feature this event space for our confidential financial client. With positioning on the 30th floor, oversized windows and panoramic views, TMA sourced a sepia toned etching of Lower Manhattan from the 20th Century and had it enlarged and imprinted on the blackout shades. In this way, the modern New York City views are replaced by a historic view when the blackout shades are drawn. #interiordesign
