COVID-19 Update from Telco Stores To our valued customers, Firstly, we hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well during these unprecedented times. This coronavirus has taken the world into uncharted territory, and has come with many challenges.... We maintain that safety is first. We hope that everybody is adhering to their local government and medical advice regarding practical measures to stay safe. Although we may have had the option of staying open during this pandemic, we made the decision to close based on our concern and care for our employees, and our customers alike. When valuing safety versus monetary gain, it was obvious to us that the likelihood of spreading the virus was too risky if we had stayed open. We apologize for the inconvenience, as it was clear that days before closing we were selling thousands of units of hand sanitizer, gloves, masks, soaps and snacks. Along with other essential items. It was difficult to know that we would be unable to provide these essentials to you, our customers, if we did close. So the decision was a difficult one. Needless to say, closing would also have a huge negative impact on our business. Yet, after much deliberation, it was decided that our employees need to stay home during this pandemic. Moreover, we did not want our stores flooded with customers who could possibly be spreading the virus to one another. So we decided to close all stores. We have seen New Yorkers come together in ways that they have never done before. Although we may be apart, it is clear that our hearts, thoughts and prayers are all together. Let us hope that this pandemic passes without much damage, and that we may be able to make the decision to reopen when it seems safe for our employees and customers. We’d like to take a moment to mourn all the lives that have been lost to this terrible virus. And hope for a speedy recovery for all of those battling with it at this time. We are confident that this will pass, and when it does, we look forward to greeting everybody back into our stores. With best wishes for good health, safety, love and unity, All of us at Telco
