Due to being cautious, Sunday: 15 March, religious school is suspended. NO ONE from our community has been tested positive. Since both the Massapequa and Lindenhurst school systems have announced their closures, and wanting to be cautious for our members, we decided not to hold religious school. We will be making decisions regarding shabbat and Sunday religious school on a week-to-week basis. We hope you are well. Please rely on your personal practices for your own resiliency. Please check back for dates of openings & closings and opportunities to worship with us.

As of now, Temple Sinai will conduct Shabbat worship @ 8:00pm. If you are joining us, please follow the guidelines of which you are already familiar: wash your hands when entering the building, please no physical contact (hugging, hand-shaking),... USE utensils when taking food during the oneg, throw away your own plate/cup. If you are not feeling well, please worship/mediate at home. Our attention to these details will allow us to join together in prayer. We will try to have a Shabbat of shalom! See more

Rallying today with thousands and thousands of Jews and supporters of the Jewish world was gratifying. Of course, the hope and prayer is that we, all can help stop hate in all forms. Please see all photos of today's march from Foley Square across the Brooklyn Bridge (symbolism of a bridge cannot be overlooked) to Camden Plaza for a rally.
