With the impending snow storm drawing near, the barn will be closing today, December 16th at 6pm. The barn will remain closed until noon on December 17th. This... is to ensure the safety for horses and riders and to allow the barn to be plowed. If by chance the snow continues on later tomorrow the hours for opening will change. Stay safe everyone. Wrapping up our last October show with two superstars! Sophia and Sassy had great rides in the Short Stirrup Equitation this morning including a (very well de...served) second in the flat class. This pair has worked hard on the flat over the last few weeks and we are thrilled to see it pay off! They also entered the costume class being adorable as a zookeeper (zebra handler) and a zebra! We can’t wait for more Halloween photos this week! Victoria and Sarco had great rides in the Low Children Equitation Horse this evening. They were second and sixth over fences and pinned third in the flat out of a field of ten riders. We are so impressed by the way Victoria has improved her equitation! See you next weekend Yaphank! It’s spooky season!

After a 12+ hour day at Winners Circle (and not even leaving the horse show until after 7pm) we had a great start to our fall series! Our day started off with ...Sophia and Sassy in the short stirrup equitation putting in great rounds. Out of a competitive group they ended 2nd and 4th over fences! Keira and Coffee showed in the small medium ponies. These two finished with a 4th and 5th over fences out of a big group. Victoria and Sarco showed in the low children’s equ horse. These two won both over fences and ended champion of this division! We are so proud of how much Victoria has progressed over the past few weeks. Katie and Corlando finished our day with great rounds in the 2’ hunters winning 2nd and 4th over fences. Katie put in some of her best rounds (even though we could hardly see the jumps!) Today was also a very special day for this pair. Erin and Nicky ended up reserve champion in the pony equitation putting their best rides to date in. We are so proud of all of her accomplishments with Nicky. As we are sad to see this be their last show together, we are looking forward to Erin’s next new mount. We are so happy that this perfect pony will be staying with the TQF team forever. Nicky is up for (in barn) lease to teach his next little rider the ropes. Special thanks to Samantha and Gretchen for making the show day run smoothly. We are also especially super thankful for these amazing horses and ponies and we can’t wait to see everyone back in the show ring in two weeks!

Huge congratulations to Sophia and Sassy on their end of summer series wins! They started of with great rides (despite the rain) in the short stirrup equitation... and ended up reserve champion of the series. They then competed in the short stirrups hunters where they were champion of the division and ended up fifth of the series. We are so proud of all their accomplishments today and all summer! Thady Quill will resume fall showing on September 27! Good luck to all our girls going back to school next week! See more
