Union House is like a "sister ship" to ArtHouse! I am grateful to be on the Jury and look forward to the ArtHouse Residency program this fall!

Staying healthy and connecting with the community in any way possible is very important during these times for ArtHouse. We have been giving masks to those who have not been able to find or make any in our Syracuse community. Thank you to everybody who has helped donate, create, and transport these masks. We would like to show one of our writing samples from Larry, age 10 and a youth in our program, S.A.L.O.N., which guides youth to creatively express their views on where they live. The full gallery will be live on our website soon so please feel free to check in often!

ArtHouse Alliance is offering handmade masks. Contact us and we will gladly distribute them to you. Presently, we have one seamstress and are inviting those of you, or people you may know, to share your sewing talent in making masks. If you don’t sew, but are still wanting to help, please consider a monetary donation tow...ards fabric, interfacing, thread, and elastic. You can donate directly on our website at thearthouseallaince.org. or donate 100% cotton fabric and/or thread directly to Art House by emailing [email protected], or call 315-665-ARTS. One yard of fabric makes 10 masks, and on average costs $6 per yard. The ArtHouse mission is to serve the community. We all need masks to help mitigate COVID 19. Hello! We hope everybody is staying healthy. Over the past few weeks, we have been working to maintain social distancing but still keep art alive in our Syracuse youth! Over the next few days we will be adding a gallery of the work made by our youth on our website. We will continue to add artwork and writing excerpts as they are completed. Great News!!! "S.A.L.O.N." workshop now has HOME DELIVERY! Art supplies will be delivered to YOUR DOOR starting today including a goody bag of snacks. We call it the S.A.L.O.N. pack!...
