The Center at High Falls

We have a new addition. Located at 4 Commercial Street, the Gorsline Building is a historic landmark. A sawmill originally occupied the site, but in 1881 the Steam Gauge and Lantern Co called it home. The building burned down in 1888 and was rebuilt as the Gorsline Building by William Gorsline in the 19th century industrial style with Romanesque revival detailing. Over the years, the building was used by the Rochester Folding Box Co, Williams, Hoyt & Co. (a shoe manufacturing plant) and Genesee Lithographic Co. Now used for commercial offices, the building is known for its magnificent views of the Genesee River’s upper falls. We welcome the building to our family.
