HELLO!!! How are you all? Summer is really flying by. I wanted to say a quick hello. I hope you are all healthy and happy. We've been very busy around here. We just finished our camp weeks, which were wonderful, such a great feeling to see students in person. Our next steps are preparations for opening our 37th season. The usual steps include creating the schedule, placing students, advertising, etc. This year, we have the added step of making sure students are extra... safe while here. We're taking this seriously, implementing all the obvious protocols, (distance, clorox wipes, purell stands), as well as ultra-violet wands to disinfect surfaces in between classes and staggering classes to eliminate traffic jams. We are VERY excited to be having our annual Summer Camp. The students are social dis-dancing...and very happy to be doing what they love. We look forward to our 38th dance season, which will begin September 14th. Keep posted for Registration updates, coming in August.

Proof positive. While we were all watching to try and spot Erick, one of his students from Japan got this shot. There he is, onstage at the Grammys, second from the left. Erick is a wonderful man, teacher & friend. We are all very proud of his accomplishments.

Our very own "Mr". Erick is dancing back-up to Kendrick Lamar's live performance at the Grammys. I'm sure we'll all be watching and will be delighted when we spot him on that stage. Show Erick how proud we are of him by sharing this, re-tweeting this and whatever else can be done in the social media world. One more thing..."Like" or even "Love" this post if you think Erick looks very handsome in his headshot.

Miss Jean, As I saw your post today about " going to the Jewish Center" it reminded me of all the good times I had there. I have been saying for months now tha...t I was going to write to you but haven't gotten around to it. I was going to private message you but then I thought everyone deserves to read this. Now that I have two daughters taking dance classes nothing compares to the skills and discipline of dance that I learned at the Dance Project. The school my girls currently attend is driving me nuts. They have teachers not even wearing dance shoes while teaching. The professional yet personal relationship you had with each and everyone of your dancers amazes me. I don't think I can ever find a dance school for my girls that can live up to the education I had at your school. You have set the bar very high and I miss the experience all the time. If it wasn't so far I wish my daughters could attend dance at the Dance Project. Thank you for all the memories. Hope all is well. Kim Francisci
