The Little Red Schoolhouse

FINAL OPEN HOUSE THIS SUNDAY - RON GABRIELE DISCUSSES "WAR DOGS" Our final fall open house at the Little Red Schoolhouse will be held Sunday, September 29th from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. The topic for discussion by our guest speaker, Ron Gabriele, will be on War Dogs. He looks at the history of our war dogs in our various wars, as well as some of the outstanding characteristics of dogs that make them the ideal candidates for the protection of our troops.... The public is welcome to attend this informative session, at no cost, while also enjoying the ambience and charm of the one-room schoolhouse located on Route 143 in Coeymans Hollow.

LRS Hosts a Sing-Along at Open House on Sun. Sept. 22 The Little Red Schoolhouse Historical Society’s annual fall open houses continue on Sunday Sept 22 with a sing-along of favorite old songs, hymns, and patriotic tunes. The talented Cathy Collins-Pierce will provide the music and get everyone started off on the right note! Come join us from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the schoolhouse, which is located on Route 143 in Coeymans Hollow. All are welcome to attend and admission is free!
