The Longwood Alliance 18.12.2020

Please join us this Sunday, December 6, 2020 for our 8th Annual Pearl Harbor Day Patriotic Tree Lighting at Bartlett Pond Park in Middle Island at 12:30pm. We will remember the Day of Infamy that created the Greatest Generation and recount how one Coram man's story about surviving the attack inspired the Longwood Veterans Walk. Wreaths will be placed at the 8 monuments, Veterans in attendance will be recognized, and the red, white and blue lights will be turned on for the holiday season. Social distancing is required - please wear a mask and bring a chair if you'll need it. Local History Books will also be available for purchase before and after the ceremony.
