After losing power at the market from 4:00am till 10:30am Christmas morning and being woken up at 6:00am to start generator and move food around. Seeing this beautiful rose at the market after electricity came back on and all was in order was reassuring. Christmas was very different this year for many people. We restocked shelves and put everything back in order for Saturday. Left the market at 12:30pm and headed home for sleep and relaxation. Merry Xmas!

Midnight Ghost - white pepper & pepper sauce Hot Sauce has always been a staple on our family's dinner table. Midland Ghost started as an experiment growing ghost peppers and turned into perfecting our own pepper sauce recipe. From there it spread from friend to friend. ... Our sauces have the deliciously bold flavor of a ghost pepper but not all of the heat. As a multi-generational family venture, we plant, harvest and process all the peppers ourselves. We hope our sauce inspires food lovers everywhere to enjoy a meal with friends and family.

Moshe Bursuker - Local Glass Blower - artist, neighbor and friend! Christmas tree ornaments - sold at the market. Pick up one of his special ornaments today. Moshe’s Bio: Moshe Bursuker received his BFA degree in sculpture and photography from the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford. It was there when he first began working with glass. After leaving Hartford, Moshe continued to pursue his artistic endeavors as a glass artist. He attended Urban Glass, Pilchu...ck Glass School and the Studio at the Corning Museum of Glass, where he has worked with world's renowned glass artists. Moshe's artwork has been presented at numerous art shows, including the 2005 SOFA Exposition in Chicago, the 2005 and 2006 Baltimore Wholesale Markets of the American Craft Council, the 2006 Buyers Market of American Craft in Philadelphia and the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Annual Glassblowers Balls in New York. Many prestigious galleries across the US and Canada are presenting and selling Moshe's work. Among them, Pismo Contemporary Glass Galleries in Colorado; Morgan Contemporary Glass Gallery in Pittsburgh, PA; Sandra Ainsley Glass Gallery in Toronto, Canada; The Glass Market at the Corning Museum of Glass; Sansar Gallery in Bethesda, MD; Articulate Glass Gallery in Santa Fe, NM; Sarah Jessica Fine Arts in Provincetown, MA and many others. It’s Christmas in North Salem! A Christmas Eve tradition where they light this gorgeous tree with an incredibly scenic backdrop.
