The Massena Rotary Club

Massena Rotary donated $1750 to the Massena Salvatiom Army to support their holiday program. The SA is assisting 51 families including 145 children. 732 toys have been distributed and the December bread room served 487 people. The Massena Rotary club has donated $1850 to the Massena Neighborhood Center to assist their programs during the holiday season. The Neighborhood Center will be serving 248 families including 352 adults, 303 children and 63 senior citizens by providing food including a turkey, rolls and eggs. A $35 gift card is also provided to families with children. All this assembled with only 4 volunteers. The Massena Rotary club donated $1750 to St. Peter’s Outreach Ministry, formerly St. Vincent de Paul. The group is busy organizing for their annual holiday program. So far, there are 377 families, including 555 children, who will be receiving assistance. In addition to food and clothing provided to all households, children are given three gifts, pajamas, and a book. Coats are also provided if needed. We still have a few gallons and half gallons of pure New York Maple Syrup left over from our recent Pancake Day. $40 for a gallon, $25 for a half gallon. Proceeds benefit Rotary service projects. PM to make arrangements.
