My salon in the news from last nights riot threats. I will be open tomorrow, with extra security precautions.

Hey guys! The salon is soooo clean and set up for our new regulations. The only additions are: - the mask you come in with must have loops around the ears so I’ll be able to work around it. No N95s or masks that wrap behind your head please. ... - the door will be kept locked, please just ring the doorbell when you get here. With all of the additional lounge and work areas you will not need to wait in your vehicle. - If you just need retail or to book something I ask that you call ahead and please use my online booking - the only update to my policies is that I require 48 hours for cancellations instead of 24.

Now that we have entered Phase 1 - we have a little more clarity of when I will re-open, however, I cannot provide a specific date. My SOFT OPENING date is tentatively scheduled for June 2nd. I have extended my hours temporarily as I am anticipating a high demand. Please keep in mind this date is not official or in my control, but I will keep you updated. You may also follow the news for more information. Salons are reopening in phase 2. Online booking is still availabl...e - If possible please use this service to book your appoinment, as I am not in the salon, but home with my daughter:) My new temporary hours will be: Tuesday 12-5 Wednesday 11-5 Thursday 11-5 Friday 12- as late as you want Sat 10-6 Right now I’m drawing up my plan and moving things around in the salon to provide a minimum 6’ distance between clients. Since I work alone this will be a little easier to navigate. I am following CDC guidelines, state guidelines, and have come up with my own guidelines to keep myself and all of you safe. - There is a lounge/studio/waiting area on the second floor. This will keep clients apart and prevent you from having to wait in your car. - Everything will still be done by appointment. - Appointment times will be extended to allow for extra sanitation in between customers. - I will have a mask and gloves on, which will be changed after each customer. - All tools, clippers, combs, etc. will be sanitized as usual. - The door handles and frequently touched areas will be wiped down after each customer. - Twice a day I will take a break to sanitize every possible surface in the shop. This list may be updated periodically to stay current with any guidelines or information we receive. I really look forward to seeing all of you! I’m happy to hear the numbers are coming down and hope this continues. Please keep using caution in the meantime and we can all start to feel safe again. Again, I appreciate all of you and the support over the last 19 years. You all mean so much to me! The salon will remain open for business as usual for the time being. I understand some of you need to stay home and reschedule appointments. As we get more information salon hours may change as we are all bracing for more closures and news. I’m here for all of your needs and continue to offer a small, intimate and sanitary environment.
