The New York State Political Science Association (NYSPSA)

The Board of Directors of the New York State Political Science Association has reached the regrettable decision to cancel the 2020 Annual Meeting that was scheduled for April 3-4, 2020. The global effects of Coronavirus and COVID-19 continue to expand everyday and we feel that the safety and well-being of our members and participants ought to remain our highest priority. These considerations have compelled us to make this difficult decision. If your paper was accepted for pr...esentation, you will receive information from us shortly to connect you with your fellow panelists. While we can no longer facilitate formal presentations of papers at this conference, we do encourage participants of panels to reach out to each other and request informal feedback on their work. We will also send an email with information on fee reimbursements later this week. We thank our domestic and international participants, volunteers, and the administration of Manhattanville College, who have all worked extremely hard over the last several months to prepare for the conference. Regarding the #NYSPSA2020 conference, the NYSPSA Executive Board is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and is preparing a contingency plan. We will release an official statement shortly.

Don't forget! The submission deadline for the 2020 NYSPSA conference is next Sunday, December 8. The conference will take place April 3-4 at Manhattanville College, approximately 40 minutes from NYC.
