The Original Mommy and Me Patchogue

Make up classes for all mommy and me’s are underway this week. Please see Miss Barbara if you are unsure how many you have. I am happy, yet sad, to report that we are completely booked for all Mommy and Me classes for the Winter/Spring session. There are no more openings.... If you would like to be put on a wait list for the summer or September, let me know. (Already filling up) Thank you to everyone for the continued support!

When it’s the letter P for the week and you get a visit from a puppy!! Thank you Charlotte and Scarlett for sharing your Christmas gift with the class! Her name is Harmony and the children loved her!!

I have to give some equal shout outs to the separation class! These were spur of the moment, take a quick picture before they notice-moments. But here we have Olivia ringing up her customer, Ella, at the supermarket. Ella was buying ice cream. If you look in the back, by the yellow chair, Buddies Tavi and Thomas were at the Sesame Street house! Even our younger kids enjoy the friendships they are making.

Nothing new to report today, so just some pictures of a moment I caught, loved, and had to get a picture! Three friends sitting playing so nicely with each other. It couldn’t make me any happier! Nothing could be better.

Some friendly reminders for all classes: December tuition is due by the 10th. There are 4 reserved parking spaces to the left of the school. They are in front of the Family Medicine unit. (Directly next to mine)... Those parking spaces say RESERVED in white paint and they are not to be used for our families. They are performing rapid Covid tests and need the spaces for their patients. Please be mindful when coming to our school, don’t park there. Thank you for always double checking with me when you are on the fence about sending your child to school with a runny nose. We are doing a great job with keeping the children healthy and I appreciate it!! Have a great week!

Happy Sunday!! We made a LOT of announcements this week at our school. And I hope that all things stay positive and in the right direction. For Mommy and Me:... We added an extra week to the 16 week calendar, so anyone with a make up will get that class in. If you do not have any absences, we still want you to come! We added the last week of January as well- if you had more than 1 absence, you now have another opportunity to make it up- if not, there will be a charge for the class. Sign up sheets are at the school. For Our drop off programs...... There are no openings in the separation nor the 3 year old program, I am sorry, we are Closed out until June. There are no openings for the 3 yr old program in September either. (Space is very limited, we are full.) Tuesday, and Saturday Mommy and Me for Winter/spring is also closed. There is limited space in Thursday and Friday. Schedules and Calendars are available at the school.

Thank you to Miss Ashley for helping me clean our school for the 200th time this season!! We made it JUST IN TIME for Elfie McElferson’s arrival! He landed in our Christmas tree!! He brought a few new toys for the children to find when they return. Letting them know Santa already thinks they are good boys and girls! ... It’s the holiday season and we couldn’t be happier! (As a side note, our fridge broke. Ashley and I carried it out, teaching my daughter yet again, women can do anything!! ) We have replaced the fridge with a tree!!

Saturday’s class reminder: No 11:30 class. Both classes are combined, for today, at 9:30... See you there!

Miss Barbara has to go to work today to get ready for this guy right here.... I heard he is coming today and I need to make sure our school is perfect! Safe travels from the North Pole, Elfie!!

Our Early childhood education children made these special Thankful turkeys to add to the table on Thursday. We are officially closed until Monday, November 30th.

I was so happy to deliver our Thanksgiving basket of food to The Branches of Long Island, yesterday after work. Great job, families of our Early Childhood Education class! It feels so good to pay it forward. I am always a fan of teaching the children kindness and giving to those in need, no matter how young they are. Thank you to everyone for contributing!... FYI: Separation class......it’s picture day!!
