Letters of Encouragement to my PAC family 11/27/2020 It’s Thanksgiving week and during my study for preaching on Haggai, I ran into Hebrews 12 which speaks about God’s encounter with the Israelites on Mount Sinai. The author of Hebrews writes that in comparison to that visit from God, (which caused an UNHEALTHY FEAR which kept them AWAY from God and at the bottom of Mt. Sinai) we who know Jesus (God’s Son who visited us) can draw near to Him in healthy fear to worship Hi...Continue reading

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE Thursday, December 24th Because of our limited seating during the Coronavirus, we have a genuine need to know well in advance how many would like to attend so that we can determine whether a second Service will be necessary.... If you would please RSVP to the Church Office @ 315-363-5642 as soon as possible and no later than Tuesday, December 15th, that will give us the time we’ll need to sort the details out. Thank You!

DECEMBER 2020 Devotional Every now and then I find myself thinking, a dangerous act, I know. My thoughts however mean very little unless its framed in a Christian Worldview rooted and contained by Gods word. Lately I’ve thought about masks. Instead of going down a road of opinion, Id like to consider a thought on how the masks have been an interesting outward symbol of an inward struggle for many. Putting on a mask is hard for us, its inconvenient, just like God call to hone...sty. Sometimes we blame the church for making us feel like we can’t be open about what is going on in our lives or sin struggles because people may judge. However, we aren’t responsible for what people will do, they will answer to God for that. Our responsibility is to not put on a mask of being someone we aren’t. God calls us to honesty, not to wear a mask to preform to expectations, because if we do that we are more concerned about what people think of us, rather than God, in his own house. Like when James 4 talks about conflict, this is a call to look internal, and allow the Lord to do his work, and to allow the Church to point us more towards him. Our counselor, and our only healer. So remember to wear a mask to church, just make sure it’s the right one. Youth Pastor Dave Richter

December 2020 Devotional Merry Christmas! What brings JOY at Christmas? It’s always been a tradition at Plymouth Alliance Church that we sing Joy to the World at the end of our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. Does joy only have to do with the time of year, or should it be that we believe in Him and are FILLED with an inexpressible and glorious joy (1 Peter 1:8)? His Presence SHOULD make joy a consistent experience! Why are you filled with joy this Christmas se...Continue reading
