The Salon and Spa At Lord + Taylor-Scarsdale

As most of you know, sadly the Lord & Taylor store will be closing soon and we will be departing from this location. We are very excited to announce that our entire staff will be relocating to 354 White Plains Road in Eastchester. Our salon name will change to MK Spa Salon and our phone number will remain the same. We anticipate a very smooth transition to our new salon sometime the first week of January, with little to no service interruption. Appointments can be made as usual. For your safety and ours, the Salon at Lord & Taylor is following all Federal CDC and NY State guidelines to protect against the spread of COVID-19. These protocols include: Customers and employees must wear face coverings. Customers are encouraged to wear a face covering that loops around the ears so they don’t need to remove it during services. If one loop must be removed momentarily for the stylist to reach a certain spot, the customer must hold the face covering in fro...nt of their nose and mouth. Salon capacity is limited to no more than 50 percent of the maximum occupancy. Employees and customers must maintain six feet of separation, except during the service being performed. Salon has a by appointment only policy to avoid walk-in customers and congregation. The hair salon is regularly cleaned and disinfected, and a period of time is left between appointments for full workstation cleaning. Shared equipment is cleaned and disinfected between uses, and employees must sanitize or wash hands before and after contact with shared items. Employees and customers are required to complete a brief wellness check before each shift/appointment. Also, we ask staff and customers to not come to the salon if experiencing a fever, flu-like symptoms or if they have been exposed to anyone with these symptoms within the past 14 days. All retail is contactless. When a customer wants to purchase a retail item, that item is brought directly to the check out counter. Hand sanitizer is available for guest and employee use in the salon. We are doing what we can to make your visit with us both safe and enjoyable.
