I was informed by a customer yesterday about police officers giving motorcyclists a hard time about an inspection. If your bike was ever inspected at a place that does cars also, then all the information was submitted electronically, and all that info is available to the police when they pull you over. However, since I am a small shop I don't have to transmit electronically, when your motorcycle is inspected by my shop or any other small shop, it won't show up in the computer. The cop then needs to look at you sticker on your bike. Apparently some officers are not informed of this... I've heard of two different people having issues with police telling them their bike was uninspected when it clearly was... Just my FYI for today.
