The Webber Hotel

New update to report Then structural work in the Webber building has been completed. Preston Enterprises Inc is starting the storefront framing build out to prepare for the new storefront. RWE Woodworking Inc has been hired to do the actual carpentry work for the new storefront. RWE is in process of building the new widow frames and glass installation of the new storefront.... The storefront should be completed by the middle to end of November. Once this is completed work will begin inside during the winter to complete the downstairs retail space and upstairs hire rooms. Stayed tuned as the project continues to move forward. If you know of anyone interested in opening a cafe or other retail please let me know as we are gathering names for prospective tenants. Hello To all my Facebook Webber Hotel friends. I have an update to report at long last. It may seem from the outside that nothin is happening with the renovation and reuse of the buildings downtown. We have been working behind the scenes with our General Contractor Mike Preston and Mitchell Preston, Structural Engineer, Roof contractor, in house arichitsct and general contractor Michael Barba and other helpers in continuing to clean out the buildings and formulate and f...inalize our renovation plans. Here is the latest update. Just finished last week a new roof on the Next Door building which many of you knew as the ice cream shop. Thank you Matt and team at CM Contracting. The structural engineering firm Glynn Group and local Lyndonvile native Jesse Grossman have provided the structural report so we can begin shoring up the Webber Bldg for the new storefront. In house GC and Designer Michael Barba and GCC Student Valentin Cruz and Professor Janet Schmidt have completed the initial working drawings for the Webber Building and Bid Requests are our for Storefront Rebuild and other mechanical requirements. Update on Webber Hotel! We are very close to signing a contract to begin work on the new Storefront for the Webber Building and Hotel. The permit is ready to submit to the Village and work should begin on the temporary storefront within the next 30 days so they can begin to dismantle the current storefront and prepare for installation of new storefront. Stay tuned for more updates as we move forward.

I would like to give you an update that we are making great progress on the Webber Hotel. We have completed most of the demo work and clean out of both upstairs and downstairs of the Webber Building. A new roof was out on this fall. And the floor plan for the Hotel Rooms has been completed along with the new facade that was approved by the Village of Lyndonville this fall. I will upload pics of the facade in the next few days. The next step is to get working drawings co...mpleted for the Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical and HVAC infrastructure. Once these drawings are completed we will hire a general contractor and subs to begin the buildout of the hotel rooms and downstairs cafe and mixed use space.
