The Wooden Nickel

Hello Everyone. We want to let everyone know that heaven has gained another angel. It is hard for me to find the words to say this but my wife and love of my life has passed away this morning. Please keep Jim Jr., Heather, Joe, and their families in your thoughts and prayers during this very sad time.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! We will be closed today and tomorrow to celebrate the Holiday with our family. Joe was released from the Hospital today, so we are doing our dinner tomorrow.

Good afternoon everyone. I'd like everyone to know my wife Jean is doing well. She had an appointment yesterday in Boston to get a scan to see if there was any traces of cancer, and we received the great news we have been praying to hear, that Jean is cancer free. Thank you ALL for your prayers and amazing support for our entire family. We could not thank you all enough. Tomorrow, Friday November 13, 2020 the Wooden Nickel will be back open at 2pm. I wanted to share this on here to get some more exposure for the customers of the wooden Nickel that aren’t on my personal friends list. Jim and Jean have owned the Wooden Nickel since the early 90’s and have done numerous fundraisers and benefits to help out local families in need or to raise money for our local fire departments and EMS squad. If you can’t donate, please share. If you want to send her a card to keep her spirits up send us a message and we will give you the mailing address. Hi Everyone... Last week, a $1,400 black tarp was stolen from the North side of The Wooden Nickel parking lot, near the band door. It belongs to Dennis St. Dennis. It was very heavy, and would need two people to pick it up also a truck. Anyone with any information, please contact myself at the Wooden Nickel, Tuesday thru Sunday 2pm until 7:30pm at 873-9990. ...
