Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! After a week off, Knit Nite is back! Big news on our end: we have an air conditioner! So bring whatever you're working on (or ALL the things you finsihed in the week off for show and tell) and lets knitabit! See ya tonight at 6:30.

Here is the berry pattern. I adjusted it to chunky weight yarn, still used a size 7 needle and cast on 64.

Thanks to all who came out to knit with us yesterday! We had a great time.

I can't wait for tomorrow's Knit in Public! And guess what? It's not supposed to rain. Yippee!! We'll be sitting on the lawn next to the Caledonia Library (right across from the shop). All day 10-5. Come n sit a bit!

Today kicks off the Knit in Public week. I challenge you to try and knit (or crochet) in public EVERY day this week. All it takes is a few minutes, and you'll notice people snickering and nudging the person next to them. It's a wonderful conversation piece. And, oh, the looks! Simple socks are great for this. They easily fit into any size purse. Heck, I could fit at least three in mine! In line at the grocery store..waiting for a table at your favorite restaurant... wa...iting for a dr's appt... waiting ANYwhere. Smile, flash your sticks, give 'em the "yeah, that's right" look, and keep on knitting! Give 'em something to talk about. And think of all you'll get accomplished : ) We're celebrating our Knit in Public day next Saturday, the 15th, from 10am-4pm on the lawn next to the library. (Right across the street from the shop) Bring whatever you're working on and join us! Sure to be a great time. Hope to see you there!
