Our hearts are heavy and we are still trying to recover from the shock that our long time friend Tony Visiko has suddenly passed away this week . Anthony, as I affectionately called him, worked with us for 14 years. He was the reliable first face to greet & put at ease our clients as they walked thru the door. A gifted piercer, a kind person, a sensitive soul....but most importantly to him, a loving father to his treasured daughter Trinity . He dramatically & enthusiastically changed his lifestyle to enhance hers. My heart breaks for Trinity, Tricia, and family. Rest In Peace Anthony . Much love, Elizabeth & The Ultimate crew

Giancarlo (BlacKraft): After 10+ yrs working at The Ultimate it has come time for me to turn over a new leaf. Working along side Shawn Conn as my mentor as well as everyone els that has helped me along my way at The Ultimate, you gave me the opportunity to shape myself into the artist I am today. Through the crazy times, drama, bullshit in our lives, I’m glad to have been with everyone here. The support throughout my years working here has been appreciated the same as my departure. I’m glad to have you guys in my life as more than just friends, but family. Thank you to Elizabeth Wise for the opportunity to work here the past decade. **9/5/20 Update NYS guidelines now allow piercing & tattooing of anatomy located under the facemask as long as the artist is wearing a face shield along with a facemask. We, at The Ultimate will NOT be offering these services at this time for the following reasons: Initial piercings & tattoos are prone to inflammation, irritation & more at risk of infection from cross contamination. The regional mandates for us all to be wearing a mask in public make it more likely for new ...piercings or tattoos located under the facemask to experience these negative outcomes or complications. Our staff has worked hard to successfully stay healthy & use safe practices on behalf of our clients & ourselves during this pandemic. We welcome back our student population & limited number of minor clients, but recognize that the start of the school year may impact the incidence of Covid 19 in our community. We are taking a ‘wait & see’ approach before offering services that require removing the mask. See more

Hope this helps As per NYS mandatory guidelines: -We are open by appointment only for services & jewelry purchases as we must operate at 50% occupancy. -We are NOT allowed to pierce or tattoo any anatomy located under a face mask...yes, that means NO nose piercing -To schedule a piercing appointment, please call the studio 585-424-1430. We will be opening on Monday June 22nd for Tattoo clients only by appointment We will not be accepting Walk-in clients at this time. In Phase 3: nostril, septum & oral piercing is not allowed as it would require removal of your mask. Therefore we will not be offering piercing appointments until Phase 4, tentatively around June 26th. We are having all of our staff tested for Covid-19 right now to ensure that we are all negative before interacting with you and each other. We... are also finalizing our staff & client safety plans. All clients will be required to: -come to your appointment alone -call us from your car upon your arrival -answer Covid screening questions prior to entry -wear a mask, wash your hands & maintain social distancing expect during your service -your temperature will be checked with a touch-less thermometer prior to entry -bring in only necessary items: ID, phone & method of payment -you will be escorted directly into the artists room upon entry We look forward to seeing you! Due to the Rochester tattoo expo rescheduling I have some available openings the week of April 13th. Appointments will be addressed first come first serve.
