You and me both, bud. Bear is a little unsure of the new rules here at his board and train...a long walk, and a porch hang does wonders for the brain.

Hi Bear! Welcome to the two week gentleman program. Bear will be hanging out learning how to control his emotions and his body over the course of the next two weeks!

Chip went home yesterday! His owners were pretty excited to be able to walk him without him trying to lunge at everything and pee on everything. Later on, Chip!

Jackson is heading home today! Little man has gained lots of confidence and is ready to tackle the world!

Happy 2nd birthday, Oakee! The tiniest puppy lady became the biggest, sweetest, annoying creature.

Here’s a little counter conditioning for your Wednesday afternoon. Maybelle had some pretty poor experiences with a prong collar; as can be seen when the prong is placed around her neck, she tightens up and starts to panic. She also has issues with being overly aroused and running away from her handler when the prong is visible. Here we are using a static position (place) to keep Maybelle steady, and just placing the collar around her neck, followed by a reward of broccoli! It’s time for this little lady to start having some positive associations!

As young Thickey Mickey wraps up his two week stay I can’t help but feel a little sad sending this dude home...him and I got on real well. A few more days and he’s back with his family. Until we meet again; adios, Thick Rick.

Thickey, err...I mean Mickey is turning into a social butterfly in his board and train. Don’t let his side eye fool you, this little man is full of affection! He’s been social and polite with all of the people and dogs we’ve come into contact with.

This is Mickey! He’s going to be spending two weeks with me to help him learn how to deal with the frustrations of other dogs being near him. So far so good!

Today is Morty’s last day! He’s on his way to being a confident young man, navigating this confusing world full of strange human folk! Until next time, Morty!
