Hi there! Just a reminder to everyone that you need to stay in your car until your Stylist waves or texts you to come in the building. You need to wear a mask throughout your entire service, and make sure it’s one that loops around your ears and one that you don’t mind getting wet or stained with color. We are still not blow drying after hair services. This is allowing us the time we need to clean and disinfect between appointments instead of booking extra time af...ter each.(making time is mandated by the state) We are able to book as normal for right now to get as many people in each day as we possibly can. Hopefully once we get through this first big wave of appointments we can resume blow drying. You ARE allowed to bring your cellphone in with you to your appointment. Hello again to all of our clients, friends and family. We wanted to let you know that we should be up and running for Nail and limited Waxing services once Chautauqua County opens up Phase 3! We will be scheduling Manicure and Pedicure services first. WE WILL CONTACT YOU in the order of our cancellations that started, Saturday March 21. Body waxing will be soon to follow, and then we will begin scheduling Eyebrow wax and/or Tinting. NO WAXING THAT REQUIRES YOU TO REMOVE YOUR MASK. We are unable to provide Facial services at this time. The Avenue’s previously stated safety guidelines regarding COVID-19 remain in place. Hello to all of our loyal clients and friends. All of us at The Avenue would like to thank you for your support during this time. As of today, June 2, we are able to partially open to HAIR SERVICES ONLY, during phase 2 of the Forward NY Plan. Your stylist will be in contact with you to schedule appointments. We will be contacting people in the order of their canceled appointments after March 20, the date we shut down. We are working hard to get the salon and ourselves ready t...o reopen. Please be patient with us as we try to navigate through our new guidelines. The new guidelines are: Everyone that enters the building must wear a face covering at all times, through the entire service. Everyone that enters must sign a Covid-19 liability waiver, and volunteer to have their temperature checked. You must wait in your vehicle until we call/text/signal that you may enter. We ask that you follow all of the social distancing markers and signs we have set in place. No outside food or beverages are allowed at this time. We will not be providing our normal refreshments or magazines. Bring in only what you can fit in your pocket, nothing else, no large bags, purses or jackets. A cell phone and payment is all you need. Good Morning! I’ve had a lot of people reaching out about appointments in the last few days. Yes. Hopefully we will be able to open on June 2nd (or around th...ere)but I am not making appointments yet until I know for sure we will be able to open. Also we need to know the guidelines from the state before we can open. We more than likely will not be able to work together in the salon, and only have one client and one stylist in at the same time to keep distances appropriate. I will be contacting people in the order that we had to cancel appointments. If you had an appointment scheduled with me AFTER March 20th then you are on my list and I will contact you. Hello All of my wonderful clients! I just wanted to send a shout out to all of you that have sent messages and phone calls to check in. I miss you all. I cann...ot wait to get back to the salon. Because I’ve had MANY people ask in the last couple weeks, I thought I’d get on here and answer a few questions. 1) Would I be able to come to your house to do your hair. Answer: Unfortunately I can’t. If I said yes to everyone that’s asked, I might as well be back at the salon. And for the health of myself and my family, and also yours, I’m not willing to risk it. Also, per NYS, it is ILLEGAL for me to do so, because of my licenses,liability insurance, and the pandemic guidelines. If I am caught or turned in I risk losing everything including my business and licenses and getting fined. 2) Can you give me hair color to do my own hair at home? Answer: No. My liability insurance does not cover that, and again I risk losing my license if I am caught. Also, I need to have product for when we are able to reopen. I will do whatever else I can to help. We have styling products available and I can deliver them to your doorstep. Root concealer spray included. I know everyone is frustrated. It’s been 7 weeks and counting since I last worked, so I know most of you are going crazy because you need your hair done. I also have not had my hair done since February, and won’t be able to get it done until this is all over either. (The greys )
