A gym owner in Buffalo filed an injunction against the arbitrary 25% capacity rule for Orange Zone gyms, citing data from Cuomo that gyms account for 0.06% of infections where big box stores like Wal-Mart have 10x that at 0.61% with no meaningful capacity restrictions. The judge ruled in his favor. Let us hope that the arbitrary closure of gyms between 10pm and 5am is viewed similarly in the follow-up hearings. There is no data or logic to support the notion that a fitness facility is more dangerous at night.

Sharing some incredibly good information coming from the Washinton Fitness Alliance. The top 10 reasons gyms have not had an outbreak of COVID. They are 100% spot on and correct. The states hypothesized that gyms would be dangerous for various reasons. The experiment was designed in the 17 page reopening guidance. Gyms were opened. The data was collected. Now that we review the data, we can conclude it does not support the hypothesis. ... Oh, and here's a cat, because that is apparently what drives engagement on Facebook posts.

Several other members put points on the board and set new PR's today. Check to see if you're still standing where you were yesterday.
